Dennis has been in the trucking business since 2013. Elite runs 55 trucks of its own, local and regional, so the shop knows what it is like to need a truck fixed fast on a tight budget, and it fixes customers' trucks the way it would want its own fixed.

It is not the cheapest shop around, because the work is done properly. The shop phone rings Dennis's own cell, and he answers it himself, evenings and weekends included.

Across more than two years of reviews, customers describe what the owner did for them. He helped one driver with a broken camshaft hunt down parts that were back-ordered everywhere. He walked another through every step of a major engine repair. He checked out a dump truck for a customer's business and gave clear, honest feedback on it.

The shop is at 225 Garmon Rd Ste K in Indian Trail, off Old Monroe Road between Matthews and Monroe. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and every service on this site is done here, in-house.

There is plenty of room to park trucks and trailers. Faults are read with heavy-duty diagnostic software that covers the major makes, and the shop works on all common truck makes, engines and transmissions.
